UT Tyler will hold a summer chamber music recital at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14
in the Braithwaite Recital Hall, Dr. Michael Thrasher, School of Performing Arts director,
announced.
The public concert will feature Stephan Friel, University of North Texas doctoral
candidate on oboe; Thrasher, on clarinet; Janelle Ott, UT Tyler adjunct faculty member
on bassoon; Tammy White, East Texas Symphony member on horn; and Mary Scott Goode,
Texarkana College faculty member on piano.
The program includes Mozart’s “Quintet for Piano and Winds, K. 452” and Beethoven’s
“Quintet for Piano and Winds, Op. 16.”
This performance is part of the UT Tyler 2013 Summer Chamber Music Series, Thrasher
