HOUSTON -- Laura Lindsey won the 2013 Eddie Burke Sr. Young Houstonian Open which concluded on Wednesday after a final-round 76 . Lindsey, who was tied after 54 holes, won a three-way playoff on the par-three second hole to capture the tournament.

The 2013 individual NCAA DIII National Champion shot a tournament-low 70 in the second round of the tournament, and held off runners-up Lizzy Doykan and Christina Cantu to take home the win.

UT Tyler teammates Jordan and Taylor Sloane, who hail from Cypress, were also impressive, with Jordan finishing in a tie for fourth-place with a combined 224 while sister Taylor finished in eighth-place with a combined 232. More...
