RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler women's cross country runner Carly Kitts has been named the American Southwest Conference Female Runner of the Week for the second time this season. Kitts set a new program record for a 6K race with a time of 23:41, good enough for 20th place.

Kitts, a sophomore transfer from Texas-San Antonio has been stellar in two races this season, finishing in the top-20 in each.
