RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler women's basketball sophomore Michelle Obach has been named as the American Southwest Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Obach, a Tyler native, led the Patriots to a 3-0 week averaging 16.3 points per game in three ASC contests.

She also set a new UT Tyler program-record for most points in a single game with 36 against Sul Ross State, while also setting a new record for three-pointers made in a game with seven. More...
