RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler women's golfer Laura Lindsey has been named the American Southwest Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday. Lindsey is currently the No. 7 ranked player in the nation according to Golfstat.com.

Lindsey claimed medalist honors at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Cru Invitational at the Stonetree Golf Course in Killeen, Texas.
