A campus sidewalk/roadway will be temporarily closed due to the construction of UT
Tyler W.T. Brookshire Hall, home of the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy,
Chip Clark, assistant vice president for facilities management, announced.
Beginning Monday, March 9, Vaughn Construction will close the sidewalk/roadway across
the dam between the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library and James H. Stewart Jr. Administration
Building during Spring Break in order to install a large section of new concrete.
The closure is planned to last one week.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause while this important work is being
performed," Clark said. "While this area is closed, as an alternate route, pedestrian,
vehicular and emergency access will be able to utilize the inner campus loop that
follows the interior perimeter of all buildings around both lakes."
