RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler softball pitcher Kelsie Batten has been named the American Southwest Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced today. Batten went 3-0 last week and picked up her first save of the season.

In 18.2 innings pitched, Batten held opposing batters to a .143 batting averag while recording 20 strike outs, a 0.75 ERA and her third shutout of the season. More...
