UT Tyler students and alumni are encouraged to participate in the 2015 Smart Start
Skills Negotiation Workshop for salary negotiations, Marilyn Albert, career services
director, announced.
The event will be 4 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 in the UT Tyler Business Building,
room 104.
“This will be an opportunity for students to learn the key elements in salary negotiation
such as the consequences of the gender wage gap,” said Sylvia Leibowitz, UT Tyler
career services event coordinator. “After attending this workshop participants will
understand reasonable salaries, benefits and how to develop a budget to pay basic
expenses.”
Food will be provided.
The UT Tyler Office of Career Services offers guidance, resources and support to help
students and alumni navigate the career development process.
