The Graduate School at UT Tyler has launched a new application system for prospective
graduate students.
The new system, powered by Hobson’s Apply Yourself, replaces ApplyTexas as the method
of applying for graduate studies at UT Tyler. The enhancement will make applying to
the school much simpler and offers more flexibility within the application process.
“The Apply Yourself application system will improve accessibility to graduate studies
and make it more likely that an application, once begun, will be completed and a new
student will enroll,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, assistant dean of the Graduate School
and director of graduate admissions. “We’re very excited for this change.”
The ApplyTexas online application – along with the corresponding ApplyTexas mobile
app – will no longer be used for graduate-level applications at the university, although
it will continue to be the application method for prospective undergraduates, Wolf
added.
