Michael Giordano is one of six participants selected for the Leadership in Enrollment Management Certificate program. He serves as the assistant director for graduate admissions at UT Tyler.
This pilot program is offered as a partnership between the Center for Enrollment Research, Policy and Practice at the University of Southern California and the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals.
The Leadership in Enrollment Management online certificate program is 30 weeks in length, with three 10-week sessions through the span of an academic year. The curriculum content includes enrollment management in the institutional and societal contexts, information and knowledge management, pricing and aid policy, admission policy and practice, retention, organization, leadership and case studies.
“We are extremely proud that Mike was selected for the program, and are confident that this certification will benefit not only Mike, but our entire office. As our staff develops and improves, so does our overall service to students,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, assistant dean of the Graduate School and director of graduate admissions.
UT Tyler offers 33 graduate degree and six certificate programs across its colleges, all designed with the adult student in mind. Most of the programs are available on a full- or part-time basis, and evening courses are available for the convenience of working professionals.
