UT Tyler Announces 2016 Convocation Aug. 26

UT Tyler will kick off the 2016 – 17 academic year with 2016 Convocation Friday, Aug. 26, President Rodney H. Mabry announced.

Convocation begins at 8:30 a.m. in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center Vaughn Auditorium.

President Mabry will give the state of the university address. Officials will also introduce new faculty members and present academic and service awards.

Fall 2016 semester classes begin Monday, Aug. 29.
