UT Tyler Makerspaces Workshop Set for Dec. 9

UT Tyler faculty and instructional staff are encouraged to attend an upcoming Makerspaces Workshop, Dr. Julie Delello, Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning director, announced.

The campus event will be 10 – 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9 in the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center, room 2009. Registration is open.

The workshop's purpose is to provide a hands-on, creative space where users can practice and play with some of the newest educational robotics used in classrooms from kindergarten to the collegiate level. Participants can play with the tools, apps and basic coding programs to make robots work at each station.

Event sponsor is the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, dedicated to the advancement of best practices in teaching and learning at the university.
