UT Tyler will welcome additional food venues to the University Center beginning this semester, William O'Donnell, vice president for business affairs, announced.

Students, faculty and staff will see two new food venues in the University Center – Einstein Bros. Bagels and Slice of Life Pizza, as well as renovations to Subway, Wholly Habaneros and Chick-fil-A.

UC construction will be completed this week. Representatives from Einstein Bros. Bagels will be here next week to train Sodexo staff for a Friday, Jan. 20th opening. All other food venues will be ready to open for the first day of classes on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Sodexo designed and funded all renovations.

"We are pleased to offer the new food venues and upgraded locations to better serve students, faculty and staff. We are also grateful to Sodexo for their investment in our university," O'Donnell said.
