The University of Texas at Tyler Office of the Provost and Robert R. Muntz Library will hold the third annual reception "A Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity" on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The campus event will be 2:30 – 5 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom, beginning with a poster and table top presentation. It recognizes The University of Texas at Tyler faculty and staff who have published or presented at a professional venue or conference in their field. Entries may include posters, recitals, lectures or keynote appearances.

The program includes the presentation of the library's "Crystal Talon Award," which recognizes outstanding scholarship and creativity of faculty from each college, as determined by their dean.

Provost Amir Mirmiran will also recognize faculty who have published books and present copies to Muntz Library executive director Jeanne Standley for the library's permanent collection.
