The University of Texas at Tyler community is encouraged to attend 'Parents at the Park' 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at Irwin Park.

"This is a great chance to show your support for our student athletes, and it will be fun for the whole family! The catered event will occur prior to the baseball and softball games," said Camry Farhat, The University of Texas at Tyler student development specialist who coordinates new student and family programming.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for those 16 years and younger. There is no cost for The University of Texas at Tyler students. Registration is open. The ticket price includes a meal from Stanley's Famous Pit Barbecue along with a "Parents at the Park" t-shirt, while supplies last.

Payment may be taken over the phone by calling The University of Texas at Tyler student business services, 903.566.7227, or in person at the tailgate with exact cash or check only.
