The University of Texas at Tyler community is encouraged to attend the 2017 Lyceum
Student Research Showcase, presented by the Honors Program and Center for Excellence
in Teaching and Learning.
The campuswide event will be 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13 in the University
Center. Student research posters will be displayed in the UC Ballroom from 11:30 am
– 1 p.m., and students will give oral presentations 1:30 p.m. – 4:20 p.m. in the UC,
room 3110.
"We have more than 50 UT Tyler students presenting, and they are excited to share
their academic work with our community," said Dr. Paul Streufert, executive director
of special academic programs. "The Lyceum will feature submissions from a wide variety
of disciplines on campus, and it's a great opportunity to learn about research methodology."
An awards reception for best posters and oral presentation will be 5 p.m. in the ballroom.
