University Appreciation Week at The University of Texas at Tyler is May 15 – 19. This year's theme is "Celebrating our Favorite Super Heroes."

Recreational activities are planned each afternoon for the campus community.

To kick off University Appreciation Week, a luncheon for university employees and retirees will be 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 15 in the Herrington Patriot Center Gym. Attendees will enjoy a choice of fajitas or barbecue this year and may bring one guest. RSVP is required for lunch.

Offices will remain open during the week. Participation requires the approval of the supervisor and coordination to minimize service disruption.
