Amounting to several million dollars of funding support, this has allowed our team to conduct research, outreach and education in this important area to better promote health and protect the farmers and workers who produce the food for our tables and the fiber for our clothing. This award represents the work of a team and I have been the honored recipient as the Center’s director. The award really belongs to many people,” Levin added.
“Dr. Levin has spent decades promoting and protecting the safety and health of workers in East Texas and beyond,” said Executive Vice President Joe Woelkers. “It’s heartwarming to see his work recognized in such a significant way by this international organization.”
