Health Science Center Program Partnership featured in Special Edition of the Texas
Public Health Journal

The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center (HSC) was recently recognized
in the Texas Public Health Association (TPHA) Journal regarding their ongoing support
and recruitment efforts for the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program. All of Us aims to improve health through research, for the goal of creating a diverse health
database that represents us all. The program currently has more than 400,00 participants
enrolled across the nation.
HSC faculty and staff participated in a question and answer section to explain their
role and the program’s importance in relation to advancing health research and representation
of rural populations. Carlton Allen, MS, CHW, CHES, Program Director for Community
Health, wrote on the health science center’s approach to recruitment in a digital
world.
