UT Tyler, Bullard ISD Partner to Enhance District Educational Opportunities for Bullard ISD Staff

The University of Texas at Tyler has partnered with Bullard Independent School District to provide discounted tuition rates for district employees wishing to pursue advanced degrees at UT Tyler.

“UT Tyler is proud to welcome Bullard ISD to our growing network of education partners,” said UT Tyler President Julie V. Philley, MD. “Our commitment is to equip educators with the tools, support and pathways they need to shape the future of education for our region.”

This partnership also strengthens the district by making educational opportunities more accessible and affordable for Bullard ISD teachers and administrators.

“We are excited to form this partnership with UT Tyler and are thankful to the UT Tyler School of Education for making this possible,” Interim Superintendent Jan Hill said. "By providing opportunities for our teachers and staff to earn advanced degrees, we are empowering them to continue learning and bring even greater expertise back to our classrooms and campuses.”

UT Tyler will work with Bullard ISD to offer an accelerated master’s degree in educational leadership with principal certification as well as special opportunities for other graduate degrees. Individuals will be able to apply for and obtain the discount for graduate programs this summer.
