Students come to our beloved university with the admirable goal of forging their future
and finding their place in the world. The mentorship they receive from our faculty
and staff shapes them in profound ways — but their success also depends on finding
connection, community and a true home away from home.
That’s why I’m so inspired by what we’re building together at UT Tyler: a campus where
school spirit runs deep, where students feel proud to be Patriots, and where faculty
and staff play an active role in shaping the vibrant life of our university.
The work you do to uplift students in classrooms and spaces across campus is life-changing,
and the effect your spirit of giving could have on them would be everlasting. That’s
why this year for our faculty and staff campaign, we are asking you to help us support
our future so every Patriot feels connected, supported and part of something bigger.
When we give, we’re affirming our shared belief in what UT Tyler can be — a university
defined by energy, participation and pride. This is why I’m proud to share that members
of the President's Cabinet and I have made the first gifts to this year’s campaign,
