Center for Smart Agriculture Technology (CeSAT)

Mission

The Center for Smart Agriculture Technology (CeSAT) at UT Tyler aims to drive innovation at the intersection of advanced materials, analytical chemistry, and electronics to create field-deployable sensors and data-driven systems for monitoring plant, soil, and water health. By addressing challenges across the food–energy–water (FEW) nexus, CeSAT advances sensors-driven sustainable, precision, and climate-resilient farming, while training the next generation of researchers and practitioners to translate cutting-edge discoveries into real-world agricultural solutions.
