A K M Sarwar Inam is currently working as a post-doctoral research associate at the Biosensors and Bioinformatics Lab of University of Texas at Tyler, USA. His work is focusing on the fabrication and characterization of different amperometric and potentiometric sensors for the continuous monitoring of aquatic environment. His previous post-doctoral research was to fabricate strain sensors and temperature sensors for respiratory monitoring. His Ph.D. topic was “Flexible screen-printed electrochemical sensors for food contaminant detection”. Previously, he was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. He completed his master’s in Food Science, Technology and Nutrition from KU Leuven in Belgium (2012-2014) with Erasmus Mundus scholarship and Bachelor in Food Engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh (2007).

Research Areas

Flexible and printed electronics for aquatic environment monitoring, electrochemical sensors and biosensors for food industrial application, wearable sensors for respiratory monitoring and temperature measurement.
