Welcome to graduate education at The University of Texas at Tyler. Choosing to pursue a graduate degree is a significant step in your academic and professional journey, and we are honored that you have entrusted our university with this important chapter of your life.

Our graduate programs are designed to help you develop strong scholarship, independent judgment, academic rigor, and intellectual and academic honesty. You will be challenged as you deepen your expertise, engage in research and creative work, and prepare for your next career steps. But you will not face those challenges alone, as the graduate school team and I are here to support you along the way.

Graduate education is a collaborative endeavor, and faculty and staff are committed to your success and ready to assist you as questions arise. New graduate students also have access to the virtual New Graduate Orientation program, which provides helpful information about academic expectations, support services, and opportunities for involvement.
