Overview

The Vancouver citation style is widely used in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and health sciences. It follows a numbered referencing system, where in-text citations correspond to a numbered reference list in the order sources appear.

In-Text Citations

  • Single Citation: The treatment was effective¹.
  • Multiple Citations: Several studies support this¹,³,⁵.
