Governance & Committees

The Dean is responsible for the governance of all matters related ot the research and educational mission of UT Tyler School of Medicine.  Such governance is achieved by appointment of faculty to the Faculty Advisory Board, which is supported by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development. 
 

Permanent and standing committees are responsible for developing and recommending the policies, procedures, and actions required for the governance of The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine as related to the community, educational, research, and clinical care missions.
