Students pursuing degrees at other colleges and universities who wish to take courses at The University of Texas at Tyler, like summer school, may apply as a transient student. If you are not a current student at another college or university, you are not eligible for transient admission at UT Tyler. A transient application is valid for one year.
Should a transient student decide they would like to attend UT Tyler full time, they may apply as a transfer or graduate student and must meet all admission requirements.
