Art Minor

Undergraduate Studies

Interested in art, but pursuing another major? Select one of our minor options!

The Department of Art & Art History offers four distinct minor options: art minor, art history minor, curatorial studies minor, and studio art minor.  Any of the minor options  may be chosen as a minor to satisfy bachelor's degree requirements in other fields. All art minor options require 18 hours, nine of which must be advanced upper level courses. Once you declare art, art history, curatorial studies, or studio art as a minor, courses are selected in consultation with an art advisor.

Students should make an appointment with their assigned advisor should they have questions about their degree plan or course of study, although an appointment is not necessary for the completion of a degree plan.
