Bachelor’s in Applied Arts and Sciences
The University of Texas at Tyler is ideal for students who are already in their career of choice and need a bachelor's degree to advance within their field. The bachelor’s degree in the applied arts and sciences prepares students for leadership roles in a number of high-demand fields.
Make a seamless transition to the BAAS degree program and prepare for your dream job. Transfer your college credits (must have a minimum of 60 transferable credits* or successful completion of an AA or AS degree) and complete a minimum of 33 credit hours at UT Tyler to earn your BAAS degree.
Upon application, BAAS students will be prompted to submit a supplemental survey to be admitted to the program. In this survey, you will be asked questions to answer why the BAAS degree completion program at UT Tyler is the best program for your academic and professional goals. Student's transcripts will be evaluated by our Registrar's Office to determine if each student meets the 60 minimum requirement.
