SGA President Address

Hello, UT Tyler Patriots!

My name is Hayden, and I am honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Student Government Association President. I am currenlty a Junior pursuing my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Throughout my time in SGA, I have learned that effective leadership begins with listening, showing up, and turning students’ concerns into meaningful action.

Having previously served as Chief of Staff and Vice President, I have had the privilege of working alongside students, campus leaders, and fellow representatives to strengthen the UT Tyler experience. From organizing campus traditions such as Midnight Breakfast to advocating for students at both the university and UT System levels, my focus has always remained on serving our student body.

As President, I am committed to building an SGA that is visible, accessible, and responsive. We will strengthen communication between students and university leadership, expand opportunities for students to share their perspectives, and advocate for improvements that support academic success and campus life.

SGA belongs to every student. I encourage you to attend our meetings, visit our office, and share your questions, ideas, and concerns. Your voice matters, and it will guide the work we do throughout this year.

It is a privilege to serve you, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
