Research
As a computational chemist, he is specialized in molecular simulation and machine learning study of soft matter materials, including polymers, colloids, and glasses. His research spans diverse areas such as nanoparticle self-assembly, gas transport through porous membranes, and data-driven materials discovery.
Biography
Dr. Kai Zhang earned his Ph.D. from Duke University in 2012 and joined UT Tyler as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in 2023.
