Rustin Crutchley, PharmD, AAHIVP is a Clinical Professor at the University of Texas Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy. Dr. Crutchley earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University and his Pharm.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Texas at Tyler, his PGY-2 HIV Specialty Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a STAR Health Disparities Fellowship through the University at North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Prior to his academic appointment at UT Tyler, he held faculty positions at the University of Houston, Washington State University and Manchester University. Dr. Crutchley has served in numerous clinical roles working in areas including HIV, pharmacogenomics, psychiatry, and internal medicine.
He is a Clinical Pharmacogenomics Implementation Consortium (CPIC) member and founding member of the Pharmacogenomics Global Research Network (PGRN). Dr. Crutchley’s primary research interests are to advance national and global educational efforts in pharmacogenomics and clinical implementation.
