Requesting a New Position

  1. Obtain a job description from HR Compensation.
  2. Once you have a finalized job description, submit a "New Position Request" eForm in UT Share. Please ensure the job description is attached to the eForm.

Replacing an Existing Position

  1. Ensure a "Termination" eForm has been submitted if an employee is leaving the insitution, or that the receiving department has submitted the "Transfer" eForm if they are transferring to a different department. (eForms are submitted in UT Share)
  2. Submit a "Position Attribute Change" eForm with the Request Position Replacement in UT Share. Please ensure the job description is attached to the eForm.
