Rachel Massey

Rachel’s journey in behavior analysis began in 2013 at Andrews Center, where she discovered her passion for supporting individuals with autism while completing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at The University of Texas at Tyler. Since then, she has gained extensive experience across diverse settings—including clinics, homes, schools, and community environments—providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and young adults ages 2 through 22.
In May 2016, Rachel earned her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) later that same year. Throughout her career, she has supervised more than 90 student interns from local colleges, providing mentorship and hands-on training in effective behavioral interventions and compassionate care for individuals with autism.
Rachel is an active member of the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis (TxABA), where she contributes to public policy initiatives that advance autism-related insurance coverage. She also collaborates with Champions for Children through their Autism Education and Resource Program and serves on the Smith County Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG).
Beyond her professional commitments, Rachel volunteers with Autism on the Seas, a special needs travel organization, and continues to advocate for inclusion and accessibility within the East Texas community. Her career reflects a deep commitment to empowering individuals with autism and their families through education, collaboration, and compassionate behavioral support.
