Know When You Get Paid
We provide the following pay day calendars to keep you apprised of when you can expect your pay check. These are updated every fiscal year.
Monthly Pay Dates 2025-2026
Salary employees are paid on a monthly basis, with pay days on the first business day of the month following the pay period. Business days are defined as days other than weekend and university holidays.

| * Please note that Texas state law requires that the monthly payroll fall on the first business day of the month following a pay period. Where the first day of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, payday will be the next business day. TGC 659.083 | ||
Semi-Monthly Pay Dates 2025-2026
Use the Semi-Monthly Pay Dates below to view pay dates if you get paid on a semi-monthly basis.
Semi-monthly pay days generally occur on the fifth business day after the end of the pay period. Exceptions are sometimes necessary due to holidays and bank closures. Hourly employees are paid on semi-monthly basis as listed per the schedule below.

| Note: Hourly employees MUST complete and submit their timesheet and they must be approved by their supervisor in PeopleSoft or Kronos according to the Timesheet Deadline Schedule to have their hours processed in time to be paid according to the calendar above. | ||
Paycheck Pickup
UT Tyler: Employees not enrolled in direct deposit must pick up their payroll checks in person at the One Stop Shop, in Stewart Hall 230, on or after the designated pay date.
UT Tyler Health Science Center: Employees not enrolled in direct deposit must pick up their payroll checks in person at the Cashier's Office, located in the Riter Center Lobby, on or after the designated pay date.
You can pick up your check Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., (excluding university holidays). A photo ID is required to pick up your check. Your check will be mailed out if it is not picked up within 3 business days from the designated pay date.
