The Division of Student Success aspires to be the leader in creating community, educating students, and providing exceptional opportunities and experiences for future success.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

GOAL 1

Foster community, respect & engagement through a culture of care.

OBJECTIVES

• Provide student success programming accessible to  all students on-campus, online and distant learning.
• Create ongoing education and professional development opportunities that enhance the understanding of others and the unique needs of our campus community.

GOAL 2
Increase persistence, resilience, and retention.

OBJECTIVES

• Provide practical experiences and access to support services that empower students to make choices that best address their individual needs to support timely degree completion.
• Create data driven intervention strategies for students to increase retention.

Strengthen student engagement.

OBJECTIVES

• Offer low-stake engagement strategies that acknowledge social and emotional well-being and meet students where they are.
• Provide opportunities to engage students through experiential learning.

Consistently enhance comprehensive student support services.

• Enhance marketing of support services to increase student awareness.
• Maintain best practices for student support by following professional organizations and national standards.

• Increase cross department/division relationships with academic programs that can bolster student success.
