Faculty/Staff Individual International Travel

Information for Faculty and Staff Traveling Individually

Faculty and staff traveling internationally for any education or business related mission that is sponsored, administered, or organized by UT Tyler, or in the capacity of a representative of UT Tyler, regardless of course credit or funding source, must comply with UT System 190 policy requirements. The OIP International Travel office assists UT Tyler faculty and staff in collecting the necessary travel documentation and in reviewing potential health, safety, and security risks at their international destinations.

Required Forms

UT Tyler faculty and staff planning to travel internationally must submit certain forms for travel approval prior to the expected travel. Below is a list of links to all individual faculty/staff international travel forms that must be submitted through DocuSign.

The International Travel Exemption Request is required only for travel to or through a country currently designated as a Level 3 (Reconsider Travel) Travel Advisory by the US Department of State.

A separate form will be provided by an International Travel advisor for faculty and staff to submit copies of their passport at the appropriate time.
