Meet a Professor

Dr. Jimi Francis

Assistant Professor of Health and Kinesiology

Dr. Francis has over 20 years of experience working with pregnant and postpartum mothers and their infants. An experienced lactation consultant (IBCLC, RLC) and registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), she is passionate about healthy moms and babies and loves to share that passion with both her students and the community. She also collaborates on research with UT Tyler’s College of Engineering, utilizing wearable biosensors for health care.
