In our bachelor of science in mathematics program, you will collaborate with faculty members on research and present findings at the joint meetings of the American Mathematical Society, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Study in modern facilities featuring computer labs, tutoring areas and Access Mathematica, the world’s most powerful global computing environment.

Meet a Professor
Christy Graves, Ph.D
Associate Professor of Math
Dr. Graves has won numerous teaching awards including the UT Regents' Outstanding Teaching Award, the White Fellowship for Teaching Excellence, and the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation's Level I and Level II Certificate. She is also a Founding Fellow for the UT Tyler Academy of Distinguished Teachers. During the summers, she works with undergraduates from across the country doing research on our campus.
Careers in Math
Completing our mathematics bachelor’s program will prepare you for a variety of career paths including management consulting, information technology (IT), engineering, biotechnology, cryptography, actuarial science, statistics, finance and education. Graduates of our program have gone on to work at NASA and Fairfield-Nobel, as well as enter PhD programs at universities across the nation.
