Training opportunities
All UT Tyler Faculty and Staff are required to take Employee Compliance training every 2 years via CANVAS which includes an Export Controls Module. New employees are required to complete this course within 30 days of their hire date. A more detailed export controls training offering is available in CANVAS for individuals or departments that have potential for more export control related activity. Contact our Research Compliance Officer for more information on export control training or if you have specific questions about export controls.
Export Control Basics – An introductory training presentation that covers basic information regarding export controls, the types of research activities that may be impacted by export controls, and information regarding how you can ensure compliance with the regulations.
