Are you considering computing as a major field of study for an undergraduate or graduate degree? The Department of Computer Science welcomes the opportunity to visit with you about available degrees.

New students - These are the benefits of being advised early in your decision process:

  • High School Students - determine AP and Dual Credit courses that are useful on our degrees.
  • Freshman - create connections with faculty and ensure you are informed on departmental policy.
  • Transfers - ensure that the courses you are taking at a community college will transfer to the CS, CIS, and Information Technology degree.
  • Graduate Students - determine degree options and research opportunities within the department.

New Students - Advising is required for all students in our degree programs. Please make every effort to be advised in April if you expect to attend courses in the Summer or Fall and November if you expect to begin classes in the Spring. This will ensure courses are available.

Current Undergraduate Students - Advising is required for all students in our degree programs. Please consult the Soules College of Business Undergrad Advising Office, COB 123.00.  Advising appointments for current students must be made in April (Fall Semester), February (Summer Semester), and November (Spring Semester).
