Emily Masters is a dedicated behavioral health liaison with a profound passion for mental health advocacy, shaped by her personal experiences from a young age. Her unique perspective drives her commitment to fostering understanding and support for mental health issues. During her academic journey at Stephen F. Austin State University, Emily not only excelled academically—graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies—but also actively engaged in outreach initiatives. She served as an officer in the Psychology Club and participated in the "Big Jacks" mentorship program, where she worked directly with children to promote mental health awareness.
Emily's professional experience includes an impactful internship with Burke Mental Health Services, followed by over a year as a collaborative care case manager at Lakes Regional Community Center, where she supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities alongside mental health needs.
Currently, Emily is preparing to advance her expertise by pursuing a master's degree in clinical psychology, with the goal of obtaining her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and cherishing moments with her husband and family, all while actively participating in her church community.
Emily’s dedication to mental health advocacy is not only a career path but a lifelong commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
