Transforming Healthcare in East Texas
In pursuit of expanding access to healthcare across East Texas, UT Tyler recently
opened the region’s first School of Medicine — an important milestone made possible
by the communities we serve. You can help shape the future of medical education and accessible healthcare by making
a gift to the School of Medicine today.
Your support ensures students have the learning spaces, clinical experiences and
financial support they need to succeed, while empowering faculty to advance research
that could transform healthcare.
Every gift, no matter the amount, will build upon the legacy of impact our School
of Medicine is already creating in East Texas. You may direct your support to the
area that speaks most to your heart, or you can trust us to maximize your generosity
by giving to our priority areas, including scholarships, student emergency funds,
and areas of greatest need. Our communities are strongest when we invest in one another. At any amount that is
right for you, support UT Tyler’s School of Medicine and help transform healthcare
in East Texas.

We give because East Texas students have big dreams and deserve every chance to chase
them. After a lifetime of teaching and building programs, we’ve learned that talent
is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. Our scholarship is our way of saying ‘yes’—to
open doors, ease burdens, and let students focus on becoming compassionate, capable
physicians. If our giving inspires even one person to join us, the ripple will last
for generations.
The School of Medicine is game changing for UT Tyler and for East Texas. I love that
we have the opportunity to support this new building and this program.
Coming to East Texas was a choice rooted in a larger purpose. Supporting the Faculty
and Staff Campaign allows us to invest not only in the UT Tyler School of Medicine,
but in the future physicians who will serve the people of East Texas with compassion,
excellence, and integrity.

Giving to the School of Medicine’s neurology program is deeply personal to me, as
neurological care touches so many families in East Texas, including my own. Access
to specialized care close to home truly matters.
