Biography:
Shilpa Chitnis, MD, PhD, FAAN, is the Interim Department Chair of Neurology and Program Director of the Neurology Residency program at The UT Tyler School of Medicine. Prior to UT Tyler, Dr. Chitnis served in numerous roles within the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern, including: supervising 13 neurology fellowships and associate program director for the residency program. With over 20 years in graduate medical education, Dr. Chitnis is excited to lead a brand new program within the school. Dr. Chitnis also serves as Chief of Neurology.
