Refunds of Tuition and Fees

The University of Texas at Tyler defines, publishes, makes readily available, and consistently applies policies and procedures governing refunds of tuition and fees for all enrolled students. These policies are published through the University Catalog, Business Affairs Office, One-Stop Service Center, and Financial Aid Office and are available to students through the University's website and student resources. The University's published refund schedule establishes the percentage of tuition and fees refunded based upon the timing of course drops, partial withdrawals, and complete withdrawals from the institution. In addition, the University maintains policies regarding the return of unearned Title IV financial aid funds in compliance with applicable federal regulations.

The UT Tyler Physician Assistant Studies Program adheres to all institutional policies governing tuition and fee refunds and does not maintain separate refund procedures. Students enrolled in the Program are subject to the same published refund schedules, withdrawal procedures, financial aid regulations, and Business Affairs policies that apply to all University students. Information regarding tuition and fee refunds is available through the University Catalog, the One-Stop Service Center, the Office of Business Affairs, and the Financial Aid Office and is communicated to students prior to matriculation and throughout enrollment.

Through the implementation of these institutional policies and procedures, The University of Texas at Tyler ensures that students have access to clearly defined, published, and consistently applied refund policies for tuition and fees, thereby satisfying the requirements of ARC-PA Standard A1.02k.
