Graduate Research Faculty Credentialing

Faculty Resources

The purpose of graduate research faculty credentialing is to ensure that graduate programs are supported by faculty who have the expertise to teach graduate courses and mentor students as researchers. Those faculty who facilitate and advise graduate student research and serve on thesis or dissertation committees at UT Tyler must be members of the Graduate Research Faculty.

The Dean of The Graduate School makes the final approval for graduate research faculty, and membership is reviewed after three years to ensure that faculty are involved in continuing research. To become part of the graduate research faculty membership, the faculty member's department should fill out, sign, and submit an Application for Graduate Research or Visiting Faculty and up-to-date resume to gradforms@uttyler.edu.
