Honors Senior Project

UT Tyler Honors College

During the last year of your degree program, if you are on the Research Track, you will investigate a research question in the fall and spring semesters, and compose either a paper for submission to an undergraduate research journal or a poster for presentation at an undergraduate research conference. You will also present your Honors Senior Project at the Lyceum.

The project is the culmination of the writing and research that you will have done in courses in your major. Typically, the Honors Research Project is developed under the mentorship of a faculty member in your field.

If you are on the Service or Leadership tracks, for your Honors Senior Project, you will work the the Honors Coordinator to develop and implement a year-long Leadership initiative or Servie project that benefits the Honors College, the UT Tyler campus, or the East Texas region. You will present your Honors Senior Project at the Lyceum.

Please complete the Honors Research Project Proposal and Contract Form here.
