More Than 1,200 Candidates Recognized at UT Tyler Spring 2018 Commencement

The University of Texas at Tyler held Spring 2018 Commencement ceremonies May 4 and 5.

More than 1,200 degree candidates were recognized in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Billy Hibbs Jr., Chairman and CEO of Heartland Security Insurance Group, served as commencement speaker.

Times and dates were:

  • College of Nursing and Health Sciences – 2 p.m. May 4
  • College of Arts and Sciences – 6 p.m. May 4
  • College of Education and Psychology and College of Engineering – 9 a.m. May 5
  • Soules College of Business – 1 p.m. May 5
