About Upswing

The PASS Tutoring Center is providing students with even more ways to get connected and succeed in classes! Online tutoring for undergraduate UT Tyler courses is now available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Through Upswing, an online tutoring platform, students can connect with professional tutors without having to be present on campus. Upswing services are free to currently enrolled, undergraduate UT Tyler students.

• Helpful Tips:
  • Make your online appointment two hours out so your tutor has time to prepare for your appointment. 
  • Upload screenshots or files that include the materials you want to go over with your tutor. This way, you get the most out of your time with your Upswing tutor!
  • Can't find your specific class? Look for a similar topic and contact the tutor who covers it. They may be able to help. Otherwise, contact rmeyer@uttyler.edu to see if your class can be covered by another tutor at Upswing.
