Biography:
Dr. Veselinovic is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious
Diseases. He joined the faculty in November 2024. Prior to this role, he practiced
as an infectious disease specialist at Baptist Health Specialty Clinic in North Little
Rock, Arkansas.
He completed his Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Utah and served
as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago,
affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Veselinovic earned his
medical degree from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in Serbia. Over
his career he has experinced vast training settings and professional experiences across
Serbia, Canada, Mexico and the United States.
My clinical interests include general infectious diseases (inpatient and outpatient),
prosthetic joint infections, infection prevention, telemedicine, and healthcare informatics.
I am particularly interested in how technology and data-driven strategies can improve
patient outcomes.
I am an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), American College of Physicians (ACP), and the American Medical Association (AMA), and I enjoy combining my international perspective with a patient-centered approach to clinical care.
